FAMILY BACKGROUND
Paul was born fourth into a loving Christian family of nine (9) children. The family make ends meet through coffee farming and subsistence gardening. Paul had received infant Baptism with Evangelical Lutheran Church of Papua New Guinea and fully recommitted his life to Christ in 2004 at the University of Goroka.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
He started schooling as kindergarten in 1991. After 13 years of primary and higher school education, he was selected to study at the University of Goroka. Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Education Degree in 2007.
After three years of teaching, Paul left teaching career and pursued theological studies in Christian Leaders’ Training College (CLTC) to serve as a fulltime missionary. Paul graduated with an Advance Diploma in Christian Studies (ADCS) in 2011 and a Bachelor of Theology Degree in 2013.
The Spirit of the LORD revealed to Paul in 2013 at CLTC during Missions week that God has called him to be His servant as a Missionary. Paul was then recruited by the PNG World Mission and started serving in missions with PNGWM.
THE CALL OF GOD
Paul first had heard God’s calling to serve as a missionary in 2005 at a missions conference with PNG World Mission, organized by TSCF at the University of Goroka. He began to pray and waited on God for seven years.
In order to keep the passion and calling alive, while studying at the University of Goroka, Paul has been faithfully involving with the Lutheran Student Christian Fellowship (LSCF) and Tertiary Students Christian Fellowship (TSCF) under the mentorship and ministry of late Evangelist Mogia Weminbarre (Bata Ninkepe).
Paul started his teaching career right after his graduation in 2017. During the three years of his teaching career, Paul coordinated boarding Christian teacher’s fellowship (OIC) and became mentor and patron of the Scripture Union students. At the local church, he has been appointed as a youth leader and musician. At the end of 2010 academic year, he pursued Theological studies at CLTC.
During 2013 Missions Week of Christian Leaders’ Training College, Paul, in a very special way, received confirmation of God’s calling upon him to serve as a missionary. He started serving as a fulltime missionary since 2014 till present.
TRAINING
Paul is a trained higher school teacher, specializes in teaching Sports and Fitness, Personal Development, Mathematics and Information Technology. Paul received his theological and leadership training at Christian Leaders’ Training College (CLTC). In 2013, Paul Successfully completed his Bachelor of Theology Degree. In 2014, Paul was engaged in serving cross-culturally both locally and internationally. In 2015, he went through cross-cultural training in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
MARRIAGE AND MINISTRY
Toward end of 2015, Paul and Nancy met in India. After much prayers, thoughts and consideration and approval from their families from both countries, they agreed to marry and continue serving as missionaries where the Lord leads them.
On the 18th of March, 2016, Nancy’s church and family in Nagaland, India have arranged Paul and Nancy an engagement and marriage sendoff party. On the 6th of August, 2016, at 2:00 PM, they were pronounced husband and wife at the St. Mathews Lutheran Church at North Goroka, Papua New Guinea.
That date reflected their faith in God and prayerfully waiting patiently for God’s appointed time. Soon after their marriage, the missionary couple went back to India, committing their lives to involve in a full time and a long term ministry.
Not long, Zeme Baptist Association of Nagaland invited them to manage one of their rundown primary school, which the young missionary couple accepted the invitation and moved to one of the remotest parts of Nagaland.
After running the school for six months, the young missionary couple received a special invitation from the Director of the Bible League Thailand to serve under the Thailand Nationwide Vision 2020 and beyond.
After much prayers and thoughtful considerations, Paul and Nancy have decided to take on the challenging journey of faith to move to Thailand.
In July 2017, Paul and Nancy (Nimbine) moved to Thailand, and have been serving with the Bible League Thailand till present.
Today Paul is serving with The Bible League Thailand foundation as teacher trainer and program coordinator of Bible-based Literacy under Bible League, fulfilling the Great Commission (Mat 28:18-20).
