It happened on Tuesday (19/10/2021) at around 12:40 PM.
Nancy, Nimbine and I were having our lunch in the kitchen. While we were eating, Nancy held fast her head and walked out of the kitchen leaving Nimbine and me in the kitchen without telling us what was going wrong with her.
After a minute or two I heard a strange noise and bubbling-like sounds coming from the living room.
I stopped feeding Nimbine and rushed out of the kitchen to find out what was happening.
Shockingly, to my surprise I found Nancy vomiting allover herself lying on the sofa unconscious.
I held Nancy’s and called her name again and again but she was not conscious anymore.
I cleaned the vomit and pus bubbled out from her nose and mouth, then rushed to our neighbours and staff at Berea Bible Institute calling for help and we hurriedly took Nancy to Doisaket District Hospital. At the emergency room nurses and doctors quickly checked and after thoroughly assessing her condition, Doctor reported that one side of her body is not working.
Therefore, She concluded that Nancy had a problem inside her brain. To find the problem, Doctor said that they need to scan her brain, which they don’t have the equipment.
Doctor then referred Nancy to Nakornping hospital in Chiang, where they have the the scanning facility.
The emergency ambulance took Nancy and we followed.
After the scan Nakornping hospital, Doctor reported that there is bleeding inside Nancy’s brain.
Doctor then recommended that the only option for here survival is to operate her brain and clean the blood inside. I agreed and signed necessary papers for operation and Nancy was taking into dressing room and then to operation theatre.
It took 2 hours for the operation. After the operation, Doctor (Neurosurgeon) reported that he was able to clean the blood inside Nancy’s brain. He said that the bleeding was too much and so he will monitor her after every one hour at the ICU.
That moment, Nancy could not respond and move. Her breathing was sustained through ventilator. Only her heart was still beating. She was not conscious to breath on her own.
The cause of the bleeding inside her head was not yet revealed by the doctor at the time of the surgery.
It was understood that her brain hemorrhage was related to her High blood pressure and hypertension, which she developed during the later part of her pregnancy period.
Nancy has been a hypertension person at the time of giving birth to Nimbine. She has been on dieting and exercising, took medication from time to time, which helps her to keep up with her health.
Nancy was gone but through many intercessory prayers, the LORD by His grace restored life giving breath to Nancy and she is now recovering at a slower phase but progressively at home.
Thank you for standing along side three of us and supporting us through prayers and financial supports. Your Prayers for Nancy’s life. Your Prayers for Nimbine and me during this sad and unexpected time and situation kept us till today and into the future.
Thank you and God bless.
Paul, Nancy, and Nimbine.
